Speaker Information + Resources
Morning future Game Ranger!
I am so excited to team up with you for this amazing event helping crafters live easier creative lives through more intentional, and fun crafty projects!
Bookmark this page for easy access to all the information you need to know about participating in this Crafting Safari.
There is a lot of information on this page, so please check back any time for anything you might need.
How it will work
Crafting Safari runs from Friday, May 15 to Sunday, May 17, 2026, with a live kickoff on the evening of Thursday, May 14. It’s designed to feel structured but relaxed – plenty of value for attendees, without making things complicated for speakers.
Each morning of the event, pre-recorded presentations go live and are available to watch for free for 24 hours. These are 20–30 minutes of solid teaching, with the option to include a short pitch for a free resource. If you choose to include a VIP contribution, you’re also welcome to share a paid resource during your presentation.
Speakers are invited to join optional live sessions during the event. These will be group sessions, fully hosted by me – you simply click a link and show up. No tech stress, no setup. It’s a great way to answer questions, connect with the audience, and get more visibility.
Attending live sessions isn’t required, but they’re always a highlight and incredibly fun. They tend to spark engaging conversations, and not only are they a great way to connect with the attendees, but also an excellent way to get to know your fellow speakers and build stronger connections for future collaborations!
Alongside the videos, we’ll have a private Facebook group where attendees can hang out, ask questions, and share pictures of their projects. This is also a great place to connect with attendees as a speaker, answer questions and hype up those making your project! Not to mention a great place to see the impact your project has on the world!
Promotion-wise, I make this as easy as possible. We’ll have just under three weeks of promotion leading up to the event, starting April 27th, 2026. You’ll receive email copy, social media captions, and ready-made graphics, as well as a custom GPT with pre-programmed information about the event for you to add in your own email samples and generate custom swipe copy if you prefer.
As a speaker, you’re asked to promote the free event at least twice on social media and once to your full email list, but sharing more can significantly increase your affiliate commissions. I’ll even provide a suggested promo schedule that’s easy to hand off to a VA (virtual assistant).
If you would like to preview what the Crafting Safari registration page will look like, please take a look at the Crafting Safari: Giftmas Edition event I held in December '25.
I will be making minor changes, updates and improvements for this event, but this page will give you a better feel for what the branding will look like!
During the promo period, while the summit is live, and for the week after it ends, my team and I will handle VIP Pass promotion, so you can focus purely on sharing the free event, but you are welcome to share it with your audience if you like.
The VIP Pass gives attendees lifetime access to all demonstrations, plus a stack of bonuses we, as speakers, will all contribute to together. By sharing valuable assets as VIP Bonuses, it adds massive value for attendees, makes it a much easier pass to sell, and helps you earn more in affiliate commission, making your time and effort much more worthwhile. These bonuses are available to paid VIP pass holders only, and allow you another way to add emails to your list! Win-win.

What I'll need from you
To give you an idea of what kind of work you will need to be a successful speaker at this event, here is an outline of everything I will need from you, and by when.
1. Basic Information
📆 Due Date: 16 February 2026
To get started preparing for the event I will need some basic information from you as soon as possible. These are easy things to fill out and won't take long to complete, but will allow me to ensure you are presented in the best way during the event!
Information such as:
- Name
- Bio
- Headshot
- Social Links
This info is due by 16 Feb 2026, but shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes to complete. Shortly after you let me know that you are in, I will send you a Content Smare to fill in!
2. Your Workshop & Resources
📆 Due Date: 16 March 2026
You will receive a form to complete, I would recommend having all of the assets ready and complete the form in one go, though your progress will be saved.
Crafting Safari is going to be a little bit different – I want to have presentations that are super fun to create with a hint of a focus on “greener” crafting.
1 – 🦁 Your Presentation
Your session will be a 20–25 minute pre-recorded crafting demonstration. This is intentionally meant to feel friendly, relaxed, and human – not polished, perfect, or overly structured. Crafting Safari is about learning something new while enjoying the process, not chasing perfection.
But here is how Crafting Safari is a little bit different.
The main focus of your project should guide attendees through creating one fun crafting project, but an added bonus to that project is to weave in a technique that clearly demonstrates at least one sustainable or mindful crafting method, such as:
- Using scraps or offcuts
- Upcycling thrifted or waste materials
- Creating two projects from one cut using positives and negatives
- Saving or repurposing “failed” projects
- Designing with material efficiency in mind
- & so much more
“I could absolutely do that – and I already have what I need.”
Please structure your content so it feels genuinely educational and empowering, rather than like a webinar where something important is being held back. We want learning first, confidence second, and selling only where it feels natural.
You’re welcome to lightly fast-forward repetitive steps, as long as each key technique is shown clearly at least once, so attendees feel confident recreating the project on their own.
- Video with voiceover – great if you like refining your message in editing
- Live-style recording while you craft – more casual, but requires a bit of planning to stay within time
You’re free to reuse your demonstration in the future (180 days after the end of the event) in your own paid content or offers. I just ask that it isn’t shared publicly on free social platforms, as this helps preserve the value of the VIP Pass for attendees who choose to upgrade.
Suggested flow for your video
This isn’t strict – it’s simply a guide to help things flow naturally:
- A short, friendly introduction
- A clear overview of the project and sustainable method you’re using
- Common ways people overcomplicate this type of project
- Step-by-step teaching and demonstration
- Clear action steps that simplify an existing process
- Up to a 3-minute mention of a free resource you offer (or paid resource if you contribute a VIP Bonus)
Your freebie should live on your own website, with a simple text overlay showing where attendees can go to grab it. Think helpful, quick-win resources that genuinely support what you’re teaching.
Your video file should follow the below specifications:
- Horizontal 16:9 aspect ratio
- File format: mov, mp4, mkv
- Minimum 720p resolution, recommended 1920x1080p (full HD)
- No larger than 5gb
- Clean, clear audio with no background noise or music during talking points
- Even, brightly lit clear space with clear visuals of the project
Your face or person is not required to be on screen, however encouraged to help form a connection to your audience.
If you need any help with the technical stuff, please dont hesitate to reach out.
Images of your finished project
You will also need to include at least two, high-resolution, well-lit photos of your finished project for promo graphics. You can use the below guidelines:
- Square: 1500×1500 px
- Horizontal: 1800×1200 px
- Vertical: 1200×1800 px
- Bright, vibrant image, with the project the main element, and in focus
- Clean, simple backround
2 – 🦓 Your Project Template
Each project should include the file for the attendee to receive, so they can follow along, and create your project. These files are:
- Either jpg, png or SVG format – whichever best suits your project
- Upload ready for the attendee to use and follow from step 1 in your workshop
- Available for free during your 24-hour workshop window through an easy download process
- Included in the VIP Access Pass for life
- Signup Free – we do not require email sign-ups for these free workshop files so that we can provide a smoother and more positive attendee experience. They are not required to sign up for 50+ email lists just to be able to complete the project. This helps you gather more quality leads, over larger quantities of uninterested crafters.
Optional but Highly Encouraged Elements:
While these elements are not required, they are highly recommended for not only the return you will receive on your time invested, but if each speaker contributes these easy to fulfill things, it makes a massive impact on the overall event, which again means a massive return on your investment into this event.
These items are mostly very easy, quick-wins that have significant impact on your email list growth, and revenue generated from this event.
3 - 🦒 Your Freebie or Resource
In the last 3 minutes of your workshop, you are welcome to share a free resource to help grow your audience. You are welcome to host this, or if you would like assistance, please reach out so that we can host it for you, or help you set it up.
If you contribute a bonus resource of $20 or more to the VIP Pass, you are welcome to promote a paid resource to generate additional revenue.
Format required:
- Link to a page where the attendee can sign up to receive the resource/product
- The digital item itself if you would like us to host it for you
Note: Due to the nature of online summits, it is not recommended that this resource be a 1:1 offer (eg, a 30 minute 1 on 1 call) as it may be difficult to fulfill if you have hundreds, or even thousands of signups.
4 - 🐆 VIP Bonus
If you would like to promote a paid resource, and increase your affiliate commission to 55% you can provide a bonus to VIP Pass holders worth $20 or more.
The VIP Bonuses are items every VIP pass holder will be able to redeem from the moment the event launches (27 April 2026) to 3 months after it ends (17 August 2026). These are typically digital items like e-books, workshops, bundles of SVG files, and help increase the total value of the VIP Pass which makes it an easier sale which means more revenue generated for you!
Every single VIP Bonus contribution has a big impact on the overall success!
5 - 🐘 Giveaway
Another excellent way to grow your email list is to offer a product, experience or item for free! If you are contributing a VIP Bonus above $20, you are also elligible to host a giveaway. This is another great, easy way to gain email subscribers and generate awareness!
You will be able to provide a link, hosted on your site where you will collect and manage the giveaway yourself.
Short Summary of Required Elements:
- 20–25 minute pre-recorded video with at least one sustainable crafting method
- Digital project file used in workshop
- Photos of project; 1 square, & 1 horizontal/vertical
- Optional (link & promotional image):
- Freebie or paid resource
- VIP Bonus
- Giveaway
In order to receive commission for sales you will make, you will need to sign up to be an affiliate on Thrivecart. It costs nothing to sign up, but you will need it in order to generate a unique URL to track the attendees you send over to the event.
The affiliate cookie works on a last click attribution model, with a 30-day cookie window.
Non-speaker affiliates are welcome and will earn 30% on all VIP Pass sales, and 20% on upsells.
Speakers will earn 50% on VIP Pass sales, and 30% on upsells.
Speakers who contribute a VIP Bonus will earn 55% commission, and be able to pitch a paid resource at the end of their vdeo.
My team and I will be creating email, social and graphic marketing materials for you to share, making it as easy as possible for you to promote the event! You will also receive a custom GPT pre-programmed with all of the event details so you will be able to very easily add in your own email & social media copy samples, and create copy that sounds like you!
These resources will be shared at least one week before promotion starts (by 20 April), so you have more than enough time to create your promotional assets or share with your VA (virtual assistant).
You can bookmark the vault here, but it will be shared via email as well.
