Learn how to make an accordion card using scrap paper!
In this presentation you will learn how to:
– work with the SVG design file using Cricut Design Space,
– use the PDF design elements or use print then cut
– assemble an accordion card with space for 10 sentiment and design panels
This Project can be made with the Explore Series, Maker Series, Silhouette

Materials and Consumables
- Cardstock
- 1 sheet 12” x 12” cardstock (card body + accordion insert)
- 8.5” x 11” cardstock (alternative for card base)
- 2 sheets White cardstock (for sentiments/images if using PDFs) or 3 sheets White cardstock (for sentiments/images if using Cricut Print Then Cut)
- Scrap paper
- Various colours/patterns (for panels, squares, banner flags)
- Vinyl (black) for banner lettering (optional)
- Ribbon (for card closure)
Tools & Equipment
- Green Cutting Mat
- Scoring stylus (for Cricut Explores) Or Scoring Wheel (for Cricut Makers)
- Tweezers (for placing small pieces / vinyl)
- Pen or marker (to draw banner string)
- Scissors or paper trimmer
- Cutting machine (e.g.Cricut Explore Air 2)
- Fine Point Tip for Cricut Cutting Machines
- Computer with Cricut Design Space
- Printer
Adhesives & Optional
- Liquid glue (e.g. precision craft glue)
- Transfer tape (optional, for vinyl)
- Lighter or heat tool (to seal ribbon ends)
or anti-fray solution
